Run Julie Ruin wins Legal Light Trophy race

The 2-5 favourite Run Julie Run with former champion jockey Reyan Lewis aboard for trainer Ian Parsard, scored a convincing victory to take the Legal Light Trophy, the feature event on Sunday's 10-race card at Caymanas Park.

The 4 year old grey filly covered the Open Allowance contest for 3 year olds and up over 9 furlongs and 25 yards in a minute, fifty-seven seconds flat, winning by two and three quarter lengths.

Apprentice Richie Shakes recorded a double, while trainer Oral Hayden saddled two winners. Racing continues next Saturday.
