Production costs rose in June - STATIN

Producers of goods and services faced increased expenses in June.
STATIN's Producer Price Index released on Thursday shows there was a higher cost of production mainly due to the depreciation of the Jamaican dollar to the US currency, and increased costs of imported raw materials.
Output prices for producers in the manufacturing industry rose by 2.2 per cent in June.
