The life story and musical legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley came to life in the form of a musical in London's West End on Wednesday evening.
Titled Get Up, Stand Up! - The Bob Marley Musical, it follows Marley's rise from the Kingston streets to international superstardom.
The musical, which has been six years in the making, was further delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
British Nigerian actor Arinzé Kene's portrayal of Marley has been described by critics as an exhilarating tribute to the man, his message and his music.
The Lyric Theatre is currently accepting bookings of the musical until April 3 next year.
